Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture
When Acupuncture needles are applied on the face, they promote collagen and elastin production, help to tone facial muscles, promote more even skin tone, diminish scars and soften lines and wrinkles. Treatments also include gentle facial cupping and guasha to further aid in lifting, reducing puffiness, clearing redness and promoting a more radiant appearance. Acupuncture needles are also applied to the body to address the underlying cause of your facial concerns.

Auricular Therapy
Chinese Medicine views the ears as micro-systems similar to the way Reflexology uses the hands and feet. There are over 90 Acupuncture points in each ear that can be used to address an array of conditions for Back Pain to Stress. For those who are scared of needles, ear seeds (small seeds on medical tape) can be applied to specific points to stimulate the areas necessary for therapeutic benefit. Once applied, the patient is free to go about their day. For those who prefer a more effective treatment, but don’t wish to have Acupuncture all over the body, ear needles are applied to specific points and the patient is left to rest.

Cupping or Guasha
Fire cupping and Guasha have both been around for millennia and used all over the world for their healing and detoxifying benefits. Fire cupping involves placing glass cups on the affected area to create suction that draws out toxins from several layers deep and promotes muscle relaxation. Guasha involves using a smooth tool to “scrape” the affected area to bring fresh circulation in and draw old, stagnant circulation to the surface. Both treatments work beautifully for muscle tension and spasms such as tight shoulders and back. They can also be applied to the arms, legs and joints to aid in recovery from exercise, acute or chronic injuries, scar tissue and more.

Pelvic Hydrotherapy (Vaginal Steam)
Steam therapy was been used for centuries all across the globe to aid in all aspects of uterine and vaginal wellness. After a thorough intake, herbs will be hand selected and prepared for your session. You will be instructed on how long to sit over the steam to achieve the best results. As this is a private session, it is suggested that you use this time to mediate, journal or just relax while the steam carries the properties of the herbs to the needed areas. You will also learn how to steam at home so that you can continue to care for yourself, if necessary. Pelvic Hydrotherapy/Vaginal Steaming is useful for Painful Periods, Irregular Periods, Amenorrhea (lack of periods), PCOS, Vaginal Dryness, Fibroids, Ovarian Cysts, Uterine Polyps, Endometriosis, Adenomyosis and more. Labor Prep Hydrotherapy sessions also available.

Labor Prep Steam
Vaginal steaming for the promotion of smooth labor has been practiced for centuries. Some of the benefits include softening and ripening of the cervix, reduction of Group B Strep, lubricating the birth canal, helping to prevent perineal tearing, encouraging expulsion of the mucus plug, pubic symphasis dysfunction pain relief, general pain relief and promoting relaxation. The frequency and intensity of these sessions varies depending on how far along you are and your health history. Instructions for how to prepare steams at home will be included. Labor prep steams are recommended as of 37 weeks and beyond.
